2024 NHRA Top Fuel Champion Antron Brown won his fourth championship Sunday night. This title moves the Lucas Oil Racing driver ahead of legendary Top Fuel Champions Don Garlits and Shirley Muldowney who won three each. One of the key people who was there for each of Antron's titles in 2012, 2015, 2016 and, now, 2024 has been former driver and now Crew Chief Mark Oswald. But Oswald is retiring after this season. 2024 NHRA Pro Stock Champion Greg Anderson returned to The Freak Nation minutes after his sixth championship tying him with his former boss Warren Johnson and current driver Erica Enders. Anderson won three straight titles from 2003 to 2005 then returned with championships in 2010 and 2021. Now 2024 is on his resume. Three particular issues of importance were television ratings, officiating during races and expanding the number of automakers who may be negotiating to sponsor teams in NASCAR. 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Joey Logano talked with media for a long time after winning the title at Phoenix Raceway Sunday evening. Logano was candid in his conversation including his comments about the playoffs. Many on social media was dismissive of Logano after statistics showed his average finishes on the season were 17.1. NASCAR Team Owner & Racing Legend Roger Penske talked with the media after his driver Joey Logano won the Cup championship. Second on the 2024 season was another Penske Racing driver Ryan Blaney, the 2023 Cup champion. The title this year is Penske's third straight championship, a level of success he didn't enjoy when he first entered NASCAR nearly 30 years ago. 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Champion Owner Dale Earnhardt, Jr. was overjoyed Saturday night after winning the 2024 Xfinity title as a team owner. His driver Justin Allgaier drove an aggressive race to get the title, Earnhardt's fourth after winning Chase Elliott in 2014, William Byron in 2017 and Tyler Reddick in 2019. Oddly enough Byron and Reddick were two of the Final Four Cup drivers on Sunday. Listen...

2017 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Martin Truex, Jr. says this will be his last full-time season racing in the Cup Series. Truex won the pole for Sunday race at Phoenix Raceway.
