In this episode, our host Gaby Azorsky speaks with Lara Elliot. Lara is a teacher and friend of mine, who I love dearly, appreciate her essence, and how she teaches. Lara finds deep resonance with Buddhist teachings and actively pursues Zen Buddhism as a dedicated student and practitioner. Her holistic approach draws from a diverse range of Eastern and Western modalities, encompassing the traditional Japanese Reiki system, Breathwork, CranioSacral therapy, Herbology, guided Mindfulness and Meditation, and Holistic Health Coaching. With over a decade of experience in various healing arts modalities, Lara is committed to helping her clients address physical and emotional challenges, fostering balance and well-being. Her academic journey in Chinese Medicine commenced in 2011 in New York City, where she embarked on two Master's degree programs to become a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. Lara holds the title of Reiki Master and has been imparting the wisdom of the Japanese System of Reiki for seven years. She has welcomed students and practitioners from across the globe, offering training sessions conducted both in Southern California and online. I love her healing model, the way she approaches healing and teaching, being a student, and of course, our shared love of Dharma and the Japanese System of Reiki.

In our episode today we talk about her origin, how Gaby and Lara met, her path from working in fashion design to acupuncture to Reiki, the mysteries and the practices of Reiki and the Way of Reiki, following our own path, creativity and bringing our creative artistry to our healing, Yin and Yang, the elements, harmony and balance, duality and non-duality, being a healer and what that means, titles, the subtle, and more.

In this episode, our host Gaby Azorsky speaks with Kasia Stiggelbout. Kasia is a Soto Zen student, podcast host, and founder of In Flow, a women’s wellness brand rooted in feminine cycles. In Flow's first product, a planner, helps women align their schedules, movement routines, and habits with the natural ebb and flow of their cycles to transition from burnout to flow. *In Flow is designed inclusively for all women, whether they bleed or not. Kasia’s inspiration for In Flow arose after years of hustle culture led to a severe autoimmune flare, prompting her to rethink her approach to productivity. In 2021, she left a decade-long tech career to study Traditional Chinese Medicine, which sparked a cascade of shifts.

Kasia is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a former Executive Director of TEDxSF, and host of The Other Way, a podcast that explores alternative paths in spirituality, life, health, and business. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, connecting with her husband + pup, and going off-grid (with her LightPhone).

In our episode today, we talk about her origin story and how we met, her previous career working in Ad Tech as a Product Manager, being a “recovering type A”, her podcast The Other Way and her company In Flow, the In Flow Planner, tech boundaries, creating a product, we speak about her journey and perspective as her mom has been diagnosed with cancer, balancing where we are in our cycles and the discipline of maintaining a meditation practice, resistance. In this episode, our host Gaby Azorsky speaks with Andrea Bordeaux. Andrea is an Intuitive Visionary Guide, a channel of Sacred Knowledge, and an Energy Healer. As a survivor of intense trauma, she possess a deep well of knowledge with difficult life experiences, and through her healing journey was able to unlock and fortify her Divine gifts. Andrea is a passionate advocate for Women and understands that the spiritual healing of Women is the key to our liberation, and therefore the restoration of Earth and all of it’s inhabitants. Andrea offers high level mentorship, intuitive guidance sessions, inner child healing, and in the future will be having retreats.

Gaby first saw her walking the land at the Spirit Weavers Gathering in June, and she was (is) RADIANT. She taught a class titled Selfish Bitch Embodiment, and Gaby thought: “Yup, I’d like to invite her onto Spiral Deeper.”

In our episode today, we talk about how she lives nomadically in her bus and her morning routine and how structure supports her on the road. We vulnerably hear about her childhood, how she grew up in a military family, experienced abuse and bullying, and how that lead her to speaking her voice and standing up for herself. We talk about her marriage and how that brought her to facing her own “shit”. We talk about one of her offerings which is a class called Selfish Bitch, and all the things that come with that: saying “no”, identifying as a “people pleaser”, social conditioning, victimhood, radical responsibility for ourselves, voicing our desires, knowing ourselves, working with Human Design, and so much more.
