But it’s not often that your childhood passion is a major world issue, like the fight against child abuse. So what is a young teenager doing to stop such a serious problem? Joining us today is perhaps the youngest guest we’ve ever had on the Lisa Show, 13 year old singer Rosevelt is also an ambassador for child abuse prevention nonprofit Child Help. Known as having "The Voice of an Angel with the Heart of a Warrior", Rosevelt is here with us to discuss what we can do to join the movement against child abuse.

You just got home from the grocery store and you might be feeling kind of gross being around all those people with this pandemic going on. Chances are, you probably touched your phone or called your mom while you were at the store. Your phone has just as many germs on it as anything else you brought home with you—maybe more! You can’t just wash it with soap and water; you don’t want to ruin it. There are a lot of sports out there. They can be celebrated worldwide like soccer and baseball or just played at recess like Lava Tag. No matter how big or little they are they all started out as just some game that some kid (or some adult whose inner kid is still thriving) came up with and taught to their friends. Back in 2017 Chris, his brother Greg, and their friend Mike got together to invent CROSSNET: a combination of four square and volleyball that is sweeping the nation.

Helping Cancer Patients (1:09:50)

Here at The Lisa Show, we’re always on the lookout for new service opportunities. This week we wanted to highlight a unique opportunity to serve cancer patients. The Road to Recovery provides cancer patients with free transportation to and from their treatments. That free transportation comes from volunteers who donate their time, vehicles, and driving to transport these patients to their appointments. Bill Junge and Ana Boote are part of this organization and are joining us today to discuss this incredible service opportunity.
