Foraged Tea - today we try Yarrow (Achillea Millefolium) which grows abundantly in our district. I think I've found a new favourite. Avoid if pregnant or breastfeeding, and if surgery is coming up.
We talk about this week's garden jobs - be sure to listen to the most current episode first. From the 15th of December, we are back into sowing and panting.
Our vegetable of the week is Kale
When to take cuttings - we all love free plants
Our guest this week is the lovely Jane Wrigglesworth - her new book The Everyday Herbalist is an absolute must-have in your library and contains detailed information on 30 herbs - Jane would have liked to include 60 herbs (hopefully there's another book in the pipeline).
So much practical advice on how to make teas, tinctures, balms, ointments, poultices, and much more.
You will be amazed at how easy it i to make natural cleaning products too.
The Glossary this week is all about the botanical names for colours.
