Healing from diet culture rather than just ditching it is so important because when we ditch it, we usually just rebel against it and do the exact opposite of what a diet would dictate, but the problem is that that's still letting diet culture have a hold over us, and it's so easy to say that we are done with dieting, but it's usually a lot harder to actually follow through on that. Well, I want you to truly heal from diet culture, which is why I, along with all of The SociEATy, am hosting a five-day challenge to help you heal both your body and your mind from the harmful effects of diet culture!
That's right! You heard it here first! Over the course of the five days, I will guide you through five different tasks over five different days that will help you heal a lot faster than I did. (Remember – I didn't have anything like The SociEATy to help me out!) This challenge will also help you network with so many others who are on similar journeys as you so that you can gain new sources of support!
In case you are wondering, by the way, no, this is not a weight loss challenge! The goal of these types of challenges is to find our set point weights – which sometimes means losing weight, sometimes means maintaining weight, and sometimes means gaining weight. All three are totally valid and totally normal ways of finding our set point weights! Life gets so much better and so much brighter when we truly heal from dieting, so why not join this completely free challenge?
