It’s hard to believe that we’ve been doing the Tailgate Guys BBQ Podcast for three seasons - after three years on local radio. It’s even harder to believe that Season 3 of the podcast wraps up this week.

We go out with a bang as first-time show guest Sunny Moody from Nashville, Tennessee joins us. Sunny and husband Jeff and their 4 daughters compete as Moodswing BBQ in SCA and KCBS - Sunny recently won the World Steak Championship at the World Food Championship. Sunny’s story in inspirational as she’s managing MS to create healthy recipes for an active lifestyle along with championship cooking.

Joel Fleetwood of Meat Rushmore BBQ also joins us to discuss his candidacy for the KCBS Board of Directors. Hear some of Joel’s ideas to better the sport and the one-time “Under the Radar” guest also discusses Meat Rushmore’s ascending competition accomplishments since he was last on the show in 2019.

Meanwhile, co-hosts Lyndal and Steve talk about their upcoming holiday cooking plans and give their thumbs-up or thumbs-down on the plethora of college football bowl games.
