Wes Patterson and Mark Deeds spent careers in law enforcement and found BBQ as a way to break away from the stress of dealing with criminals and make new friends. Now Wes is fully retired, Mark has scaled back a bit and they’re finding success on the competition circuit as Wood Hook BBQ. The Missouri duo recently posted their second career KCBS Grand Championship and we visit with them on Episode 157 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Show.
