We head into the long July 4th holiday weekend with a bang on Episode 217 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Podcast. Leading off is a conversation with Christie Vanover, whose website GirlsCanGrill.com is one of the top sources for BBQ information including recipes, instructional videos, product reviews and much more. Christie also is a champion pitmaster and recently achieving a Grand Championship and her first career KCBS 700. She also is one of the contestants on Season 4 of the Food Network show BBQ Brawl - with mentors Bobby Flay, Anne Burrell and Sunny Anderson - which debuts July 10. 

We also check in with Richard Fergola of Proud Souls BBQ & Provisions Kansas City and get the lowdown on all things Proud Souls and the latest from Fergolicious BBQ.
