It’s always an honor to visit with BBQ Hall of Famer Tuffy Stone. On Episode 65 of the Tailgate Guys BBQ Show Podcast, we have a conversation with “The Professor” about how weird it feels not to be headed to Memphis this week, where he’s reigning champion of the Memphis in May World BBQ Championship.

Postponed by COVID-19 until October, Tuffy said he might throw a couple of pork shoulders on the smoker this weekend, at home in Virginia, to commemorate the occasion. He also tells us about dealing with the loss of his father and BBQ right-hand man, George Stone, plus the challenging times in the restaurant business these days.
