台北市螢火蟲季登場
Taipei Names Best Places for Watching Fireflies
The weather is getting warmer.
And we've been enjoying the beautiful sight of fireflies after dark.
And now Taipei is telling us some of the best places to see these bright (閃閃發光的) bugs.
The city government says this month and next month is the best time to see fireflies in Taipei.
Officials say firefly viewing season started Monday this week, and goes until May 1st.
台北市螢火蟲季開跑了,在台北市區公園可以看到螢火蟲的身影。
If you want to know where to go, check on the Taipei City Government website.
There, you can find a map for the best places to see fireflies.
If you're in the middle of the city, check out Daan Forest Park (大安森林公園), or Rongxing Garden Park (榮星花園).
If you're not downtown (市中心), you could try Muzha Park (木柵公園), or around Yangming River (陽明溪).
And the city will have special firefly tours.
For these tours, guides (解說員、導遊) will teach people about fireflies.
The guides will also show people how to protect fireflies
There's also going to be fun events, like concerts and arts and crafts events at Daan Forest Park.
The city is asking everyone to remember to wear their face masks and keep a safe social distance.
If you're watching fireflies, make sure not to use a flashlight, or wear things that give off light.
And if you'd like to take a photo, make sure not to use flash (閃光).
We can all help to protect fireflies while enjoying their beautiful light.

Lunar Dust Up for Auction
Dust.
Most of the time, dust is something we don't like.
It's dirty.
And it makes us sneeze.
We sweep it up (掃起來).
And we throw it away.
But now, someone thinks a little bit of dust could be worth a lot of money.
How much money?
Maybe more than a million US dollars!
Dust from the moon is going up for auction this month.
The moon dust was collected (收集) by NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong (尼爾 阿姆斯壯) in 1969.
He was on the moon as part of the Apollo 11 mission.
That was the first time humans landed on the moon.
And experts (專家) think that dust could sell for up to $1.2 million US dollars.
Most things taken from outer space cannot be sold.
They belong to the government.
Usually, those things are kept for scientific research (科學研究).
But this dust is a bit different.
After Neil Armstrong brought the bag of moon dust back to Earth, NASA lent it (將它借出) to a museum.
But the bag was lost!
It ended up being sold to a woman who lives in Illinois.
She bought the moon dust for $995 US dollars.
The bag that held the dust was sold a few years ago.
It was sold for $1.8 million dollars in 2017.
被太空人阿姆斯壯帶上月球的"月球樣本袋"在2017年以$180萬美金高價賣出。
Everyone is waiting to see how much the moon dust will be sold for.
