Today on the podcast I am sharing some tips for improving teacher mental health. This weekend was World Mental Health Day. And it was both saddening and amazing to talk to educators all around the world who have struggled with mental health, mainly because of our chosen career.
Recent research and reports state that 1 in 20 teachers will have mental health struggles that last for over a year because of their job. And this, this is not ok.
Today in this podcast, I am going to be sharing my best tips for how you can look after your mental health. Because sometimes, trust me I know, we don't even notice that our mental health is taking a hit, until it's too late.
I hope that you find this podcast episode helpful. I know it's not our usual bubbly format, but it's an important topic that I really feel needs to be heard by as many educators as possible.
Your mental health is important. You are important. And you are not alone. You can always reach me via email or social media if you ever want someone to talk to.
And if you have any tips to share, please leave them in the comments down below. You might just share a tip that changes someone else's life.
Thanks for listening today.
