Teen Aviator Flying Around the World Makes Stop in Taiwan

A 19-year-old pilot is flying around the world alone.

And she made a stop in Taiwan!

Zara Rutherford is a British-Belgian teenager.

She wants to fly to 52 countries and five continents around the world.

The trip will be 51,000 kilometers long!

19歲英國、比利時雙國籍飛行員Zara Rutherford挑戰成為獨自駕機環繞全球最年輕女性的紀錄。

She started her journey on August 18th this year, flying out of Belgium.

And since then, she has flown to Iceland, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Russia, and many other countries.

Just last week, she landed (降落) in Taiwan.

Zara landed her plane at Taipei Songshan Airport, after flying for 4.5 hours from Seoul, South Korea.

After she landed, workers at the airport gave her a bubble milk tea (珍珠奶茶) as a gift.

Zara says Taiwan "is gorgeous (極其美麗的), especially the mountains".

While she was in Taiwan, Zara stayed at a quarantine hotel.

Then from Taiwan, she flew to the Philippines.

If everything goes well with her trip, Zara will be back in Belgium mid-January.

And Zara will break many records (紀錄).

If she finishes her journey, Zara will be the youngest woman to fly solo (單獨) around the world.

She says she hopes her trip will encourage girls and young women to go for jobs in aviation (飛行) and STEM if that's what they want.

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (科學、技術、工程及數學).

Her message for everyone is that you are capable of much more than you think.

Zara 想對大家說，"你遠比自己想像中的更有能力"。

Zara is starting university next year.

Her dream is to become an astronaut.

Bird Songs Beat Out Stars on Australia Music Chart

Most of the time, music charts (音樂排行榜) show which are the most popular songs right now.

They are usually full of songs from famous singers.

But one album (專輯) on a music chart in Australia sounds a little different.

"Songs of Disappearance" is all sounds from endangered Australian birds.

The album was made by a group called BirdLife Australia.

這張"消失之歌"專輯由澳洲鳥類保育協會製作，收錄53種澳洲瀕危鳥類叫聲。

It made it into the top five of Australia's Aria music charts.

It was more popular (受歡迎) than songs from The Weeknd, Olivia Rodrigo, and Justin Bieber.

The album is full of bird songs from 53 of Australia's most threatened (受威脅) birds.

Some of the sounds took hours of waiting in the woods to record (錄音).

BirdLife Australia says some of the birds you hear on the album may not survive (存活) if they are not protected.

Some scientists says one in six Australian bird species are now in danger of disappearing.

They say part of the problem is climate change.

Now BirdLife Australia says all the money made from sales of the album will be used to help save birds.

They are also happy that so many people like the album, and care about birds.

澳洲鳥類保育協會表示，如果人類不團結起來保育，這些罕見鳥類可能無法生存。

Scarlett Johansson Working With Marvel Again

A star and a studio appear to have reconciled.

Scarlett Johansson played Black Window in several Marvel movies.

However, she sued the studio for breach of contract over the release of her standalone film.

That lawsuit has since been settled (和解).

黑寡婦主角史嘉蕾·喬韓森和漫威和解了，將再次合作。

Both sides are now moving on, with Marvel saying they are working with Scarlett again on a secret (機密) project.

This project is not related to her previous Black Widow character.

Scarlett will serve as a producer on this unnamed project.

No other information about this top-secret project has been revealed yet.
