This week on the Ball and All Podcast, we welcome a man who has managed to live more lives than most - Ironman legend Wes Berg. When most of us complain that family life is stressful enough, Wes has somehow managed to fit in a 20 year career at the top of the Ironman game, coached surfing legends such as Joel Parkinson (to his first world title), Andy Irons (to his third world title), and Jack Freestone (2 World Junior titles) as well as a number of other world champions in their chosen professions, combined work as a Fridgy and a number of other business ventures along with being a devoted husband to wife Jade and Dad to their 3 kids, oh and did we mention he overcame a broken neck as well. Wes is a man who has shown incredible resilience to overcome a whole host of personal and professional challenges and has done so with a positive energy best summed up by the legendary Daryl Kerrigan himself - it's just 'the vibe'.
Also on the podcast this week, we look forward to our first live event at the Byron Bay Golf Club (in support of The Healthy Minds Club) where we will be joined by Big Wave surfing legend Mark Mathews and long time friend of the podcast Vaughan Blakey, we preview all the shenanigans of the 'Morning of the Mo' surfing contest and we bring you up to speed with all of the latest sporting updates both locally and abroad in 'Around the Grounds'.
As always we would like to thank our supporters Bareback Biltong, (which is now sold down at the Lennox Head Servo) along with the latest line of Tesla car's (apparently) and the boys at 44 Constructions who are supporting this season’s swear jar.
Dig out the Uncle Toby's and tune into some hard earned wisdom!
