Taking you back to 4/22/208 - If you are a long time fan of this show…or a new fan for that matter…you might have heard me reference the name “Dan from Wauchula” and this week…Jon believes he has run across the FIRST EVER CALL to the show by one, “Dan From Wauchulah”! This is what you would call “a piece of show history”. Dan was someone who called in to the show in the very beginning…when I took live phone calls…and was intent on figuring out different ways to get hung up on. He never seemed like he was really a BBQ or Grilling guy…he would talk about certain things that made it seem like he was legit, but in the end, he would say some weirdo stuff and I would bring the hammer down on him and move along. 
Over the years I got away from having the “call in option” just because it really never seemed to have a great place in the live show. One of those “good ideas “ in concept…but, in real life, not really a great option to utilize…and so I did away with call in lines a number of years back.
That being said…Dan from Wauchula lives forever in the history of the show as one of the classic callers of all time…and this week you will get to hear him make his debut on the show…and I think it sets the tone for calls that followed after.
