Episode Summary:
This week, we’re diving into one of humanity’s most time-honored traditions: cheating.
Inspired by White Lotus Season 2 (aka HBO’s sun-drenched study in rich people being horny and morally bankrupt), we ask: Why do people cheat? Is it unresolved childhood trauma? Is monogamy just a doomed social experiment? Or are we all just over-intellectualized apes in Zara button-downs?
But maybe the darker question is: why do people stay after they’ve been cheated on? Is it resilience… or just fear of dying alone with 16 tabs of Pornhub open and no one to split the Wi-Fi bill with?
We talk divorce shame, dating app dread, and whether “fighting for love” is noble—or just a well-marketed denial spiral.
