Jealousy is one of those topics most people won't touch — it's considered taboo, shameful, something to hide. But in the Sacred Depths approach to transformation, nothing that arises inside of us is inherently bad or wrong. Every feeling, every impulse, can become a doorway to evolution, deeper self-compassion, and aligned power.
Which is exactly why we're going there in this episode.
When jealousy shows up — for you or for your clients — it can be sneaky and surprisingly destructive. It can drive self-sabotage, pull you off your game, cause you to hold yourself back, or create real misery beneath the surface. And yet, when you know how to work with it skillfully, jealousy can be transmuted into something genuinely useful: clarity about desire, awareness of shadow, and a path toward more aligned action.
This is a rich one (part practical, part philosophical) and one that will answer some questions while, in the best possible way, opening up many more.

How to raise your rates ethically and effectively is one of the questions I get asked most often, and it usually sounds something like: "I know it's time to raise my rates, but how do I tell my existing clients? I'm worried they won't want to continue with me."
Too many coaches and practitioners either hold back from raising their rates out of fear, or raise their rates without handling the conversation well…and lose those clients as a result.
There are ways to raise your rates that are ethical and effective. It can get tricky if you don't know how to communicate the change in an aligned way, and as always, this is both an inner and an outer job. This episode gives you the tips you need for talking with clients about a rate increase, plus a little insight into yourself along the way.

Understanding the true process of transformation and change is one of the most important things a coach or practitioner can develop…and most of us were never fully taught it. That gap is often what's behind the frustrating pattern of clients having wonderful insights and genuine motivation in sessions, but then not following through or achieving lasting results.
When you understand how transformation actually works — not how we wish it worked, not how the self-help world says it works, but how it genuinely unfolds in a human being — everything shifts. Your sessions go deeper. Your clients move further. And you become the kind of coach who doesn't just create breakthroughs, but co-creates real, lasting change.
That's what this episode is about.

The desire to be known, seen, and "big" in your work is something a lot of coaches and transformational practitioners feel…and rarely talk about out loud. In this episode, we go deep into the psychology of wanting to be famous, including the shadow work underneath it, so you can better support your clients who are navigating this desire, and so you can get more honest with yourself about it too.
This is a personal one. I share openly about my own inner push and pull around fame — the beauty in the pull to be known, and the Shadow that can live inside it — along with a breakthrough moment at an Aimee Mann concert that shifted something significant for me.
As a practitioner, understanding the psychology and human behavior behind the desire for fame is genuinely important work. Your clients will bring this to you, in one form or another. This episode gives you the depth and discernment to meet them there skillfully.

Inside of the Sacred Depths Transformational Practitioner Training, I share a lot of coaching demos because one of the BEST ways to become a better practitioner, to stretch and master your transformational skills, is to listen and observe, with intention and presence, to masterful coaching sessions.
It is so, so valuable to do this whether you are a new practitioner learning skills for the first time, or a very seasoned practitioner like me with decades of experience. I value life long learning because I know it makes me better and better and better at what I do. And that's why I love that you're here too, listening to this podcast!
In today's episode, I share with you a 27 minute coaching demonstration where I go deep with my client and we do a somatic process that unpacks the ways her inner child has been inadvertently holding her back from her goals. It is VERY powerful. As practitioners, it is essential that we know how to work with the inner child.
And of course, while this isn't a training on how to work with inner child, you will learn some key wisdom and tips.
Some topics we cover:
==Creating space between the adult self and the child fears
==How to open pathways for clients to see that fear doesn't have to run the show
==Accessing Adult Wisdom
==Holding space for clients to go deep

The 4 Levels of Learning and Processing is a framework that will make you a better coach and practitioner in every single one of your sessions and groups. It impacts how you listen to clients, how you ask questions, how you create awareness, how you strategize, and so much more — it's a true game-changer for going deeper with clients and creating more transformation.
If you aren't yet aware of the 4 Levels, and which coaching questions, reflections, and processes activate each one, you may notice your sessions scratching the surface instead of going deep, or clients struggling to connect with their own inner wisdom to find new solutions, or yourself having trouble navigating emotion just under the surface that's getting in the way of clients being fully present or fully seeing their situation.
In today's episode, we go deep into understanding and using the 4 Levels.

Going overtime in coaching sessions is okay…until it isn't. When it becomes a persistent pattern, it creates stress and chaos in your schedule, can lead to resentment of clients, and generally doesn't even help the client you're trying to serve.
Many coaches and practitioners get stuck in this exact cycle but don't know how to get out of it, either because they don't know how to hold the agreed-upon time (clients can talk so much!), or because clients have already gotten used to longer sessions.
In this episode, we break down the specific reasons practitioners go overtime in sessions (most of them are not what you'd think, and you'll be laughing in recognition as soon as you hear them), and exactly what to do so that going overtime becomes a "once in a while" thing instead of a pattern that robs you of your time and energy.

Knowing how to help clients work through fear is one of the most important skills a coach, therapist, or transformational practitioner can develop. Fear can stand directly in the way of your clients taking action toward the goals they hired you for. And when it shows up unskillfully navigated, it can bring your work together to a complete standstill.
Most practitioners try to help clients talk through their fear, or "release" it altogether. Neither approach actually works. What works is a process to Befriend the Fear — one that moves beyond purely cognitive learning and processing.
In this inaugural episode, we go deep into the human behavior behind fear, and the most important principles coaches and practitioners need to know in order to help clients coexist with fear in regulated, empowered ways.
Once you learn how to work with fear more skillfully, you become poised to co-create even better results with your clients. And as always, everything you learn here about fear will teach you something about yourself, and how you can become better friends with fear in your own life too.
