Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes back Col. Allen B. West onto the Dom Giordano Program, a longstanding tradition for Veteran’s Day. Allen West, a regular in the political scene, is still actively involved in helping and working with active military and veterans, and tells that he’s currently at his Alma Mater of University of Tennessee, where he’s helping with the school’s ROTC program. West notes that, even in a time of political distress, there are still honorable young people willing to offer their lives to defend our country, and now more than ever it is important to recognize them. Then, Giordano and West delve into the world of politics, discussing the future of the Republican Party, and where Allen West sees the party going after a disappointing midterm election.
Then, Dom welcomes national political reporter for the New York Post, Salena Zito, back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss her recent column explaining why she believes Trump voters are ‘done’ with the former President after the performance of Republicans in the midterms. Zito explains her side, telling why she believes the future of the Republican Party will look somewhat different than what’s been built behind Trump. Zito takes us deep inside the Pennsylvania race in particular, discussing how the losses by Mastriano and Oz reflect on a potential run for President by Trump, and diagnoses what candidates have done wrong in PA.
After that, Dom welcomes in media critic Neal Zoren for his bi-weekly segment telling listeners what’s worth watching this weekend. First, Dom asks Zoren whether he’ll be tuned into Saturday Night Live to see Dave Chapelle hosting, with Zoren confirming and telling why, for the first time in a long time, he’s actually looking forward to watching the long-running show. Then, Neal previews what’s worth watching, telling of some great television series, and telling Dom why he believes Peacock is a worthy investment as a streaming service.
