At the edges of consciousness, between waking and sleeping, there’s a swirling, free associative state of mind that is the domain of liminal dreams. As we sink into slumber, we pass through hypnagogia, the first of the two liminal dream states. In this transitional zone, memories, perceptions, and imaginings arise in a fast moving, hallucinatory, semi-conscious remix. On the other end of the night, as we wake, we experience hypnopompia, the hazy, pleasant, drift that is the other liminal dream state. Readers of Liminal Dreaming will learn step-by-step how to create a dream practice, integrating the deeply unusual half-waking dream states of hypnagogia and hypnopompia into their lives in personally meaningful ways. Working with liminal dreams can improve sleep, mitigate anxiety and depression, help to heal trauma, and aid creativity and problem-solving. Liminal dreaming practice is also far easier to learn than lucid dreaming practice, making it possible for the reader to begin working with these dreams this very night.

An Omni dreamer is someone who is lucid in every dream they have. Today I am talking to an omni who explains what it is like to be consciously aware 24/7 while awake and asleep. He talks about what he does every night with full control of his dreams, and the persistent dream realms that he can create.

Every single night we all dream. It's just a matter of being able to remember it. Want to build your dream recall? Join us for the LARGEST dream online experiment.

A high school psychology class started Night Owl's interest in dreaming. After discovering dream journaling, he experienced his first lucid dream and first sleep paralysis phenomenon. From there, everything changed. He never wanted to feel helpless in his dreams again and embarked on a journey of lucidity and dreamwork.

Night owl is currently recruiting participants for an online dreaming experiment. Phase 1 is comparing the effectiveness of different dream journaling methods. Participating in this experiment will help YOU find out what works for you, and help you build your dreamwork practice, as well as increase lucidity. All it takes is 5 min survey every day and following specific instructions about your dream journaling.

Today's guest is a legendary expert, author and researcher in the lucid dreaming field. Robert Waggoner, author of two very popular lucid dreaming books, and the former president of the International Association for the Study of Lucid Dreams. With the ability to connect with thousands and even millions of people instantly, social media has revolutionized how we communicate. Apps like Tik Tok shorten attention spans to make us consume quick and easily digestible content. It is designed so that people want to stay in the app longer, instead of leaving to further their research elsewhere. Unfortunately, the revolution of social media is a sharp double-edged sword and there are many dangers of fast spreading information, leading to pipelines of white supremacy within the spiritual community online.

Many black creators experience a great deal of censorship online. Those who are outspoken about white supremacy and racism have many times found their content removed or taken down for violating community guidelines.

The origins of the New Age Spiritual movement started as an inspiration to music, politics, education, social justice, and therapy as part of the 1960s opposition to mainstream consumer capitalism. While New Age spiritual movement encouraged universal peace, hope and love, there have been a number of new appropriations of New Age spiritualism by right-wing and far-right organizations.
