My guest this week has a very unique story, one which involved some very shocking events that rattled her entire being. Yet often it is the most detrimental things we experience that bring us to our Divine Purpose. Through personal tragedy and trauma, Sheridan Ruth has seen firsthand how unjust systems and unsafe environments are perpetuated by individuals who are burned out, fearful, and reactive. However, she has also witnessed the immense power each individual has to create positive cultural change, and how, based on her unique skills, the most effective, efficient way she can support individuals in doing so, is by bolstering them with therapy, coaching, education and support through their nervous system (the foundational way you experience life).

She also speaks to how our attachment style influences our relationship to money, what people usually get wrong about nervous system regulation, how to increase your nervous system capacity for increased income, intimacy and success, and increasing the nervous system's capacity for love, abundance, pleasure and joy after trauma and c/ptsd.

From being stripped of every strand of hair on her body to losing my ex to suicide 3 weeks after breaking up, Sheridan was forced to use trauma-healing to sustainably build her business. While there are a lot of 'trauma-informed' and 'body-based practitioner' coaches in the industry, none of them do it by merging body-based tools, the nervous system AND business strategy.
