Today's guest is Nebraska softball head coach, Rhonda Revelle. She is entering her 31st year at her alma mater, Nebraska. Rhonda has led the Huskers to over 1, 000 victories, and fun fact, she was a member of Nebraska's 1982 Women's College World Series team, which was the inaugural year of the NCAA World Series. She has been a part of the 34 of Nebraska's 47 seasons as a softball program, participating as either as a player or coach in 90 percent of Husker wins.

I am so excited to share my conversation with Morgan Stuart. She played college softball at Washington and was on the 2009 women's college world series championship team. She also played on the Philippines women's national softball team. Now she coaches full-time in California. I love that our missions are aligned in that we care about empowering the next generation of softball players with tools for confidence and knowing who they are. We talk a lot about that in this interview where she shares what she wants to instill in her athletes, how to overcome the fear of making mistakes and what it means to embrace failure through reps. We also talk about the journey to getting recruited and how unique and diverse the opportunities are despite the D1 Or bust mentality. This quote from Morgan's bio is my favorite because it perfectly sums up who she is as someone who cares deeply about the mission of growing the mental side of our game. She says: "For me, it's not only about mechanics, but also about producing valuable teammates and self reliant athletes that know how to make adjustments and how to be their best competitive selves." You might recognize Aliyah Andrews for her spectacular diving catches, which have been featured on ESPN's sports center, top 10. These catches have lead her to being dubbed "Air Aliyah". Aliyah is a former LSU tiger for and current professional athlete with Athletes Unlimited. She will also represent team USA at the pan American games held October 29th through November 4th in Santiago, Chile. What I love most about Aaliyah is that she's authentically herself and she shares the turning point in her career, where she went from doubting her abilities to going full out with her confidence to catch every ball that came her way. She shares about her experience playing in the pros, what gives her a competitive advantage and trying to stay in the game as long as possible. And she also talks about what she's excited about in the future.

Every so often on the fearless warrior podcast, we will be bringing back interviews from the archives. Why? Because they are too good not to share with you all. Last June in 2022, we hosted Aubree Monroe Watson as a guest speaker inside the fearless warrior program. We wanted her to share her experience and her journey with team USA softball during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which were actually played in the summer of 2021 due to the global pandemic, but even more importantly, she is authentic and open about her faith and how she rediscovered her relationship with God her freshman year of college. Aubree shares about her time at Florida with team USA and all the moments in between how she dealt with the negative thoughts of, "why am I here?" and, "you are not good enough". Aubree shares what ultimately led her to realize her true identity beyond the results on the field. 

Aubree shares how both her physical hard work and her mental game shaped her career, she is open about her experiences when things got difficult and how her relationship with her mom was a foundation that carried her through. Today I got to hit record with another amazing mental performance coach and friend of mine, Colin Henderson. He is a mindset coach with Limitless Minds founded by Trevor Moawad, Russell Wilson, Harry Wilson, and DJ Edison. He is also currently working with UCLA Women's Basketball and he cares so much about the mission of growing awareness to train the mental game. He has authored nine books, has his own podcast, and he owns Master Your Mindset. 

Colin shares how mental skills are being translated in the workforce with his corporate clients and teams.
