  • #103 A Hollywood Start, The Pizza Bombshell and Clip in Fringes

It's a supermarket-delivery shaped start to this weeks podcast, and after a DMC (that's deep meaningful chat, to those unacquainted) about how they got their slots, the girls are OFF. But it's a pizza bombshell from Charlotte that stops Liv in her tracks- all before the biggest bombshell of all; Traitors chat is back (and Charlotte has the whole family watching).

As well as a Ratatouille sing-along, a love letter to Bake Off's Danni (we love you!) and some big opinions on The Rocky Horror Picture Show (let's just say Charlotte agrees with Lady Di)- the girls' end up back in the same kind of strange place they started; talking about clip in fringes and the mind's car windscreen with dangling cookies; all in a weeks chat!

We would LOVE to hear your Bake Off, Traitors and Strictly thoughts (or just opinions about where best to consume pizza. That's fine too)- please do email our postbag at [email protected] or DM us @fringeofit!

  • #102 Arty Shorts, Sausage Wars, and Henry VIII in Margate

It's a whole lot of food and films this week, as Charlotte goes on a culinary tour of Margate that Henry VIII himself would be proud of (remember: it's not the quantity it's the ORDER), and in a never heard of situation, Liv manages to stay awake for a whole... 3 films. In a week! Miracles can happen!

On top of that, the ribbon is cut on Hot Chocolate Season, but you simply must vow to not drink them like Liv (but if you do... let us know).

There's also all important about Bake Off chat and of course... Strictly. What do Charlotte and Liv think of Nigella's hosting? How did mayo make it into a cake? And why did Charlotte watch Strictly with a pot noodle in a Premier Inn? Indeedarooney, we have the answers!

Following on from Digger chat- do let us know what film you enjoyed but never want to see again, and also spill the (chocolate) beans on your hot chocolate habits, by emailing [email protected], or DM'ing us @fringeofit!

  • #101 Jazzy Porridge, Halloumi Respite, and The Cottage Cheese Scene

Wow oh wow, it’s been a big week. And if you thought that was counting a visit to Skegvegas, talk of smart speakers and Charlotte’s big delve into The Cottage Cheese Scene- we’re only just getting started. There’s talk of THE only radio station worth knowing (well, one of about three), some quite serious sausage chat #EverySausageHasAStory (if last year was Charlotte’s bonnet year, every year is her sausage one) and how on earth Liv ended up at Jarvis Cocker’s birthday party on Friday night…

In case that excitement wasn’t enough STRICTLY HAS STARTED AGAIN, Charlotte’s upgraded her bedding (and gives tips on how to hotel-bed at home) and the peach syrup is en route- rejoice!

For cosy autumn recipe ideas, the best seaside chips and your favourite radio stations please do send letters on a postcard to [email protected] or DM us at @fringeofit!

  • THE GREAT CENTENARY EPISODE!

It’s the big 1-0-0! Who’d have thought?! And to mark the occasion the girls’ are celebrating with a giddy high in a farm shop, the first Strictly discussion of the season and pondering one of parentings big questions: is it actually screen time when it’s plasticine?

There’s a big trip to the Cotswolds (exhausting work), an introduction to the mother of all salmon lunches and an AI dessert that has truly pushed luddite-Liv over the edge (and she’ll happily stay there if any more fraudulent puddings appear). We also chat car pyjamas (a HUGE discovery) and get a little bit sentimental after so many hours nattering on air, thank you for being here, friends!

REAL M&S snacks can be recommended at [email protected] and Liv can also be hired as a wedding guest via the above, too.

  • #99 Flattie Thoughts, Toothbrush Hell and The Great Midnight Feast Ban

It’s Tuesday. It’s September. And according to Liv, porridge season is upon us! There’s been flirting with the thermostat, dreams of a UK tour and Charlotte’s love hate relationship with East Midlands Airport. Oh and Greggs. And Burger King. Oh and pastries. And toothbrushes too- okay maybe a few love hate relationships, but we promise there’s fun to be had!

In the food department, there’s flattie thoughts, the finest food delivery you can get nationwide (HUGE) and in enormous developments Liv’s French peach syrup is making it’s way across the Channel- what a time to be alive! There’s also concern of Liv being banned from Five Guys, initial thoughts on Off Campus and why midnight feasts should be #banned.

Please send your flattie cooking times, barmy backgrounds, porridge toppings and book recommendations to [email protected]- thank you! See you next week for the big 100!

  • #98 The Hugh Jackman Cherry, being Stonehenge Curious and Lyn! Lyn! Lyn!

This week we’ve gone international baby! Reporting live from Rab’s record room in France, Charlotte joins us from across the pond- bringing news of her broken Hugh Jackman virginity and lamenting the end of giant Babybels- a mixed day, if ever there was one. Back in the U.K Liv has some exciting news- and it’s not just about Mike updating his phone background to a rock formation, oh no!

There’s talk of Top of the Pops and University Challenge (two new shows we’re *certain* you wouldn’t have heard of) and the girls ponder one of life’s big questions: what is it with men and Spinal Tap?

Please send your hallmarks of a good cafe and best Hugh Jackman songs to [email protected].

  • #97 Napmaxing, Lower London and Soufflé the Dog

If you like your podcasts brimming with #hacks, #lifegoals and #tips to maximise on everything, perhaps you’ve actually come to the right place… Well, that is, if you like napping. Enter napmaxing! From Liv’s thrill of a Power Nap, to Charlotte desperately seeking time to lie down to a very big, and, ahem, important conversation on wearable tech- the girl’s are giving their best podcast bros! That is of course until Charlotte puts £50 in the washing machine cooking a prawn dinner, Liv begins singing the Sleepover Club theme tune and Agatha Christie comes up- oh well, they tried!

There’s also late summer nectarine loving, an official cookie dough PSA and a love letter to the best new phone game in town (just prompt Liv into starting a leaderboard if you happen to get into it)…

For prawn dish suggestions, lines for Charlotte’s film quote bank and other forgotten TV shows- please email [email protected]- love you!

  • #96 Mad 4 Prawns, Arctic Colin and Bartering with Marshmallows

It’s what, week 2 (week 4 current TFOI time) of the school break and Liv has no tan and a new vertical grey hair- happy holidays! It’s just what Enid Blyton would have wanted!

This week, joined by a small whistling child (who will only come off air if rewarded with giant marshmallows) Charlotte and Liv channel their true Kermode and Mayo with, you guessed it, a Minion’s review (cue Liv bellowing ‘ILLUMINATION!’). It’s slick, it’s cutting edge.

Charlotte also delves into a show making her a puddle of tears, a dessert that *could* have made her a puddle of tears (slight exaggeration) and a dress incident that nearly made Liv a puddle of tears too. And now for the whistle…

Please share the wonderful films you’ve half finished and best prawn dishes to [email protected]. Love you!

  • #95 Don't Call it a Comeback!

Happy New Year! We're back! And only a cool 8 months after the Hootenanny aired, and Charlotte and Liv are back in you ears for more timely chat! Including (but never limited to) World Cup nonsense (which is good because it only finished about 4 weeks ago), a birthday trip (in May) around the Marks' food hall and the weather. Oh the weather!

But! That's not all. Charlotte goes through her fan inventory (warning: it's big), there's talk of arguably *the* funniest show on TV and Liv realises she could have a tendency for the tiramisu shakes- it's all rock 'n' roll baby, but we like it!

Thank you for having us back (again)- and thank you to lovely Sally for the title idea! Yes it's another come back, but ain't we glad about it! Please (if you'd like) feel free to email the postbag at [email protected]!

  • #94 Telly Tennis, Overtaking Santa, and Mad for Christmas

It's the great Fringe of It Christmas bumper episode! Wrap yourselves in tinsel and adorn your festive (monogrammed, if you're Charlotte) jim-jams as we accompany you through your last minute wrapping, dishwasher loading or quiet moment in solitude for some peace and, erm, giggles. If your Christmas shopping has felt like course work and you too have gone mad for anything loaded with cranberry sauce, you are in the right place.

This week Liv lets Father Christmas go at a junction (but not before wondering if it would be rude to overtake the big guy on a residential street), Charlotte watches a trio of Christmas films and Liv, well, nearly watches It's a Wonderful Life. The girls' also reveal their top 3 TV, films and foods of the year- with a live food tasting to end the season- delicious indeed!

Thank you for joining us, you wonderful people! We will see you in January for more fun and frolics. If you'd like to share your bronze, silver and gold in the TV and film ranks please do email [email protected] or slide into our DMs at @fringeofit.
