Some of our kids somehow turned out to be these super independent, on-top-of-it thinkers (seriously, how did that happen?), but others? Not so much. And for those kids, what are we even supposed to do? Are we meant to sit beside them while they work? Nag them to finish their homework every night? At what point are they just supposed to know that this is their responsibility? Should we let them experience the natural consequences of not getting it done, or is that too harsh? Honestly, HELP.
