We speak with Stacey Copeland on how she fought adversity as a female who was keen to compete in sports that weren't particularly in favour of women. The conversation leads us to more recent times where she tells us how she proudly represented her country in both football and boxing where she made history in 2018 when she became the first ever British woman to win the Boxing Commonwealth Title.

As a footballer, Stacey went on to represent England U18s and played in an FA cup final and has also played abroad in America and Sweden. 

Stacey currently presents 'The Dead Good Show' and 'The Sunday Sports Show' on BBC Radio Manchester and is also busy with public speaking engagements alongside setting up the Pave The Way charity which she founded in 2017.

We speak with Richard McCann who's life story is both heart-rending and uplifting. Richard suffered an extremely traumatic childhood following losing his mother Wilma McCann at the early age of 5 after she was murdered by serial killer, Peter Sutcliffe, AKA 'The Yorkshire Ripper'. Richard talks us through his upbringing where he spent his childhood years living on the bread line on a council estate, violent father and no mother. His early life experiences continued to affect him and consequently saw him go to prison for 6 months for drug related offences. Following his release, his sister Sonia almost ended up following his footsteps after she stabbed her boyfriend in self defence, which lead McCann to his pivotal moment that he says 'changed his life' where he decided to write a book about his life experiences. After losing his sister a few years later in 2007 to suicide, Richard fell into his reoccurring suicidal thoughts that he says he first experienced as a child. 

After overcoming so much pain and suffering from his early life, Richard has since gone on to find success as a motivational speaker, professional speaker, inspirational speaker and keynote speaker.

A truly unimaginable but inspirational life story, which shows the true power of mindset and how a positive mindset can really change your life.

We speak with ex premier league football player and current Manager of Bury AFC Andy Welsh. His love of football saw him have a successful career in England where he spent his career playing for clubs such as Stockport County, Sunderland AFC and Leicester City before he made the move to MLS, arriving in Canada to sign for Toronto FC. After a short lived career in Canada, he returned back to the UK after a short career overseas, he continued his footballing career and transitioned into management where he is now the Manager of Bury AFC. We speak with Andy about his time playing football and delve into the mindset that helped him through his career and into his managerial roles.

From a struggling working class family in Philadelphia to Steven Spielberg reading out his name at the Oscars, we speak to Ross Katz about his upbringing and the struggles he faced after dropping out of school, his dealings with depression and lack of finances, all whilst trying to learn his craft to break into the film industry. Ross finally got his break working as a grip on the 1992 Quentin Tarantino American Crime film, Reservoir Dogs, which was named "Greatest Independent Film of all Time" by Empire. Ross then went on to become Ted Hope's assistant before being encouraged to become a producer himself, where he then went on to co-produce two Academy Award Best Picture nominees and was later nominated for an Emmy and BAFTA and even went on to win a Golden Globe for the film 'Taking Chance', which stars American Actor Kevin Bacon. 

Ross talks us through his dealings with self confidence and how he battled the 'inner dialogue' of doubt, before talking us through how he always seemed to have a fire within him that just wouldn't go out and how his inner voice would tell him he just needed to make movies. His visions and belief eventually became reality and we had the absolute pleasure of hearing the outstanding achievements of Ross Katz.
