It looks something like this: the man is feeling insecure and needs reassurance, for which he continuously reaches out to his partner, though the way he seeks reassurance and connection is through blame, shame or judgment. This in turn, pushes his partner further away, creating greater disconnection, the very opposite thing that he is seeking.
