INFJs have this tendency to go over and beyond in things or to not give a rat's ass at all. There's no middle ground. We are at either extreme and we swing back and forth like a pendulum. Back and forth all of our lives.

External vs internal validation or appreciation - INFJs want to be appreciated, I get that. I'm like that, too. But with or without external appreciation, we need to keep on doing what we love. Sometimes, we stop doing what we love because we aren't getting external appreciation and that sucks only for us.

We can see both sides of the coin, that's why INFJs can be terrible at giving MBTI tests or giving any kind of personality test. We can see ourselves in both situations that the test asks for, and that confuses us. No wonder we are always confused about what our MBTI type would be.
