The general consensus in society tends to be that to have success in any field requires early specialisation and many hours of deliberate practice - aka the 'Tiger Woods model'. And if you dabble or delay, you'll never catch up with those who got a head start. In this episode, David Epstein dispels this widely-held myth. He explains that the best way to succeed is by sampling widely, gaining a breadth of experiences, taking detours and juggling many interests, which could be coined the 'Roger Federer model'.

How to ensure you are getting the right nutrition to fuel yourself for performance, health, mood and overall wellbeing. James Collins is recognised as a leading Sport & Exercise Nutritionist. In elite sport he has worked with Team GB Olympic teams and athletes over three Olympic Games. He joined Arsenal Football Club in 2010, where he spent seven seasons as the club’s first performance nutritionist. He has worked as a consultant with England Football, France Football (2018 World Cup winners), and is currently a consultant with Chelsea FC.
