The child/mother dynamic can be a tricky one to navigate sometimes but if you’re lucky, your mother will be your biggest supporter and source of great comfort throughout your life.

We talk about the trap some mothers fall into of doing it all and that emotional labour needs to be evenly carried by both parents. Brendan talks about his beloved mam and how well they get on but may think twice about working together in the future. Sonya shares her experience of motherhood and talks about how she is the product of brilliant parenting from her firebrand mum. We also talk about tattoos and ear piercing for some reason.
