Episode #122
Are you a certified coffee addict or an alcohol lover?
In this episode, Doug shares his personal experience and journey with coffee & alcohol and why you might want to consider limiting your consumption.
Reducing the intake of caffeine and alcohol or totally getting rid of both could make a great impact on your life especially in terms of large decision making and how you perform in your business.
Being dependent on coffee & alcohol tends to make people more unstable and anxious all the time. It also reduces your alpha brain waves that you need most when it comes to decision making , especially for high-performing men.
One way to increase your alpha brain waves is by reducing your caffeine and alcohol intake. It will make you less anxious, more present, more centered and you will achieve your flow state as a powerful man.
It is difficult for most people to give up these two but in order to do it, you can try using coffee and alcohol alternatives just to get the stimuli that you need and as a result, you will become more focused and in your flow state more often.

Episode #120
We live in a society where it is being taught that money can solve everything. As a man, we think that we need to make more money to make our marriage or relationship going. We become addicted to work because we always feel that the money we're making is not enough so we grind more, thus leaving us never satisfied.
When we're too focused on making money, we forget to switch off and work even more when we get home. We tend to forget our responsibilities to our partner other than making money which results in creating a gap in the relationship.
The marriage then begins to break because the man loses himself along the way. He identified himself as a businessman or business owner and that became his identity. Since he thinks that it's his identity, it is difficult for him to switch off and the gap in the relationship becomes bigger and bigger until you don't know your wife anymore and even yourself.
In this episode, we talk about how to switch off from work, reclaim your identity and know who you really are. We also talk about the importance of knowing who your wife is, not the woman you married but who she is becoming in the relationship.

How often are we sold the dream of success and what does that dream look like… most likely you are visualizing the “sexy” success story; money, cars, women, big houses. This, however, is simply a dream we’ve been sold via marketing. Marketing also sells us the dream that this can be done instantly and that your success can be overnight.
The truth is that success isn’t sexy. While success may give you the ability to possess some of the above, maintained success is a day in day out of crafting and refining your skills.
Getting away from the ‘sexy’ dream of success involves changing your mindset and listening to this episode can be the first step on your path to changing. You will hear about the most common mistakes men make and how they set specific goals, reach them and fail to make set the next goal, which means they slowly return to a treadmill lifestyle with no plan and constantly chasing shiny objects and looking for the shortcut to success.
When you change your mindset and realize what success is really about, you can improve your business and personal life massively. Doug shares a real-life story of a business owner who was in the habit of looking for shortcuts and chasing the shiny object and discusses how he changed his mindset and his business multiplied.

Episode #117
In this episode, Tim shares a very personal topic of how his extended family is littered with suicide and broken down relationships due to demons of the past being handed down through generations. Tim explains how he overcame the demons in his immediate family and discusses the wider picture of how this generation needs to step up to our demons by having conversations and taking responsibility.
Mental health among young people is at an all-time low. Tim & Doug try to trace why so many people can relate to having being passed on the demons of their parents and present a fascinating theory of how what it meant to be a man was very different in previous generations and this has had a long-lasting effect that is taking its toll on the young people of this generation.
Central to not wanting to share demons with those closest to us seems to be the old attitude and wiring we have of not to air our dirty laundry, always put on a brave face and the perception that things are great. This has been our instinct for many generations and continues to be so if you look at things like social media where we continue to share our highlights and positivity in a somewhat false and insecure manner.
Tim shares an experiment he put into action of trying to connect with everybody he came into contact with and how amazed he was at how much it put people on edge.
Tim & Doug explain how they have helped so many men face their demons, because we are wired to fear our demons and ignore them it’s often easier for people to do nothing about it but the truth is that the demons are never as bad as they seem and the answer lies in communicating and asking for help.
