In this episode we speak with community coach and elite marathoner Paddy Birch. The Irish ex-pat now lives, works, trains and coaches in Toronto. Paddy didn’t start running until he moved to Canada 7 years ago, but in that time he’s transformed himself from a mid-pack recreational runner into an elite marathoner.
Throughout the pandemic, Paddy has stepped away from the roads and onto the track to test himself over shorter distances. This week Paddy shares his thoughts on the physical, psychological and emotional benefits of exploring new events!
