Rachel Molenda is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Emotional Eating Coach, who helps women heal their relationship with food and their body by breaking free from dieting, rigid rules and discovering the power of intuitive eating and eating #RealAssFood.
Rachel shares her personal struggle with food that started at 8th grade and evolved as an eating disorder. Rachel was very critical with her body, binging and going in and out of diets; this lasted for 10 years of suffering, until she started a positive connection with food, recovered the pleasure of eating and connected with exercise and movement.
Rachel believes that the first thing needed is to heal the emotional relationship with food, overcoming this emotional eating is the priority, but how to start? Rachel proposes a series of first steps:

Today episode includes our first guest, which is also one of my best friends, Dr. Laura Foster. Dr. Laura has been an inspired Chiropractor for over 20 years and along the way she has coached and led retreats, workshops and group gatherings that have allowed her to tap into her gift of helping others find their truth and greatest sense of self.
During this episode Dr. Laura engages into a thoughtful conversation about retreats. The experience of going away and encountering yourself, getting in touch with your health and shifting perspectives. The special aspect of a retreat is that everything is taken care of, leaving time for your personal growth.
From being a participant to becoming a leader…
This process happened gradually for Dr. Laura, she went from hosting a couple hour workshop to a 7 days retreat. She trusted in her capabilities and in her knowledge, faced her fears and doubts, and kept doing wonderful retreats where people have a chance to grow and find themselves.
What's unique about Dr. Laura's retreats?
Dr. Laura offers retreats and an opportunity to BE more than you can DO, the location is beautiful. A place that really nourishes who you are, where your level of yoga will be met by the Yogi Instructors and you will be connected to your soul spark. This retreat is a journey within yourself and a permission to let go the things that are not serving you.
You can create this in your everyday life
Create time and space in each day. For Dr. Laura this space is created by getting up earlier, connecting to your purpose and asking yourself the right questions about how you want to feel. This shouldn't be a job. Say "Yes" to yourself more often than you say "No". Put yourself first.
If you think you don't deserve it, but you know you need it...
Listen to the first voice that comes to your mind when you are asking the question. Listen to the Yes, that is your soul voice, the other judgements and preoccupations are secondary, this second one is your mind talking.
The ultimate goal
For people to walk away from the retreat with a greater sense and appreciation of who they truly are.
Get in touch with Dr. Laura Foster and participate in her awesome retreats in Costa Rica and in the Rocky mountains.

This episode is all about estrogen dominance, its definition, the different symptoms it causes and how it works. I will offer some guidelines about how you can clear and detoxify to move out the excess estrogen in your body.
Don't get me wrong, estrogen is a wonderful hormone, the excess of it is the problem and nowadays there is a lot of extra estrogen entering to our bodies from the environment, the products we use and consume, like certain foods, water, plastics, pesticides, beauty products...
Listen to this episode and check in with yourself, does this apply to you? Here are the symptoms that show an excess of estrogen.
Some of the symptoms of Estrogen Dominance:
This episode is about the history of a woman's body. The webinar that I am sharing is about hormones and birth control awareness. Lots of women have asked me different questions and this is the way I found to reach you all in one space, this conversation among women is for us to break the barriers that are making us feel alone and ashamed. Many different symptoms begin after stopping birth control pills, physical, hormonal and emotional. Many women don't even know how their bodies work normally since they have been on the pill even before they got normal cycles.
Puberty can take from 2 to 12 years from a woman's body to fully develop. When you got your first menstrual cycle, you just started, that is why taking the pill at this time is very nocive to your body, synthetic hormones are nothing like yours. No matter what the reason why a doctor recommends a pill, it is only masking the symptoms, not really balancing or helping you out.
Listen to my personal story, I started the pill at 15 years old and lasted 7 years on birth control, a roller coaster of symptoms and mood changes happened to me and I just didn't know (neither my doctor told me) how critical was this for my future hormone health. When I was 22 I started my journey to health and stopped the pill. The changes were unbelievable and this inspired me to be here addressing this topic with you.
All your menstrual cycle problems are symptoms, most women on the pill are taking them to treat these symptoms and they end up missing these powerful messages from their bodies.
In this episode I will explore these topics and more!
