If you’ve been keeping up with the Golden Trail World Series, you’ve likely noticed Allie Ostrander’s impressive performances. This season, she finished 15th overall, with standout results including 32nd at Sierre-Zinal, 7th at Headlands 27K, and 8th at Mammoth Trail Fest. Allie also finished 7th in the Prologue and secured a top 20 spot in the final, placing 19th.
In our latest episode, we discuss her decision to sign with NNormal, her transition from track to trails, and whether she plans to continue focusing on track in the future. We also dive into where she trains, her choice to join the GTWS when she did, and her thoughts on the current state of American women in trail running.
Allie shares her impressions of the GTWS format, her plans for balancing multiple disciplines next year—whether that’s the GTWS or something else entirely, and her last race of the year
We loved chatting with Allie and we know you will love this episode too!
If you’ve followed the Golden Trail World Series, you’ve probably seen this name more than once: Rachel Tomajczyk. A multiple-time All-American from Baylor University and former steeplechaser, she’s quickly made a name for herself on the US trail team since starting trails in 2021.
This season, Rachel finished 11th in the overall ranking after a series of strong performances: 16th at Four Sisters in China, 6th at Broken Arrow 23K, and 10th and 11th at Mammoth Trail Fest. She wrapped up the season with a solid 10th place at the final.
In our latest episode, we chat about her choice to start Black Canyon this year, her thoughts on shorter-distance trail races, her perspective on the Golden Trail World Series, the current state of the sport, and more.
Following the Golden Trail World Series this year, you might have seen Anna Gibson making waves. Competing in the series, Anna took 6th at Sierre-Zinal, 7th at Headlands 27K, and 3rd at Mammoth Trail Fest, finishing 8th in the Prologue and 13th in the Final to secure an impressive 5th overall ranking, the highest finish by an American this year.
But Anna’s season wasn’t just about the trails—her versatility stands out as she was also one of the few athletes to EVER compete at both the Olympic Trials and the GTWS in the same year. In our latest episode, Anna dives into the highs and challenges of balancing elite performances across two worlds, her partnership with Brooks, what she learned from this year's dual-season, what’s next on her journey, and more.
Anna has already cemented herself as not only a Rising Global Talent in our sport, but one of the American Women to keep an eye on in the coming years.
