National Teamer Emily Escobedo has been one of the few fortunate ones to still (as of the time of this interview) have access to a pool - an infinity pool. While she admits it isn't ideal, she is grateful she has a place to swim and at least maintain her feel for the water. Outside of swimming, she's been indoors as much as possible, and trying her hand at cooking more with the free time - or as she refers to it, preparing.

We sat down with Rebecca Soni, one of the greatest breaststrokers of our generation. She talked about age-group swimming, making the transition to Dave Salo after her freshman year at USC, and training with breaststroke champions Jessica Hardy and Yulia Efimova. Soni also goes deep into what is essential for being consistent with your training in breaststroke, even when it's feeling out of rhythm.

Brad Tandy and I's conversation started about grocery stores and our mutual confusion at why toilet paper had become such a hot commodity (can anyone tell us?). Tandy then explained the stress that went on in his last 2 weeks while trying to figure out if South Africa (now in total lockdown) was, indeed, having their Olympic Trials, and if he needed to fly back for that.

We sat down with Bob Bowman, who recently announced that he would be redshirting Arizona State's entire Swimming program for the 2020-21 season. When I talked with Lia Neal, she was at her parents' house in Brooklyn, at the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. Luckily, they don't have to go outside much, and while she makes grocery runs, her home does a lot of the cooking. Lia talked about her new YouTube channel, where she has been posting weekly vlogs in which you can get to know her as a person, not just a swimmer.
