In this special 50th episode of The Britt Mayer Show, Britt engages in a deep and thought-provoking conversation with children's rights activist and author Katy Faust about the complexities and ethical dilemmas surrounding IVF and reproductive technologies.
They explore the implications of these practices on children's rights, the commodification of human life, the inherent process of eugenics in IVF and the societal narratives that prioritize adult desires over the well-being of children.
Katy shares her journey into advocacy, highlighting the need for a shift in focus towards protecting children's rights in the face of growing commercial interests in fertility.
The discussion also touches on the alarming realities of surrogacy, the redefinition of infertility, and the moral responsibilities of society to safeguard the most vulnerable.
The episode concludes with a call to action for listeners to engage in these critical conversations and advocate for children's rights.
