  • Things People Did, with Mike Bubbins: Tesco checkouts, bodybuilding, and being a world class Elvis

We're back at the Clapham Grand with another live episode of Things People Did. Our guest this week is a comedian, podcast legend and gentleman with the finest sideburns around... it's Mike Bubbins! He tells us all about working on the checkouts before barcodes were invented, driving a van illegally in Toronto, and the time he broke a students leg while he was a PE Teacher (which was an accident of course). Add in a free packet of Welsh-cakes and a world class Elvis impression, and you've got yourself an excellent episode. Enjoy.

  • The Show Growing Committee: Billboards, squirrel photographers and a power hungry producer

The show growing committee meet for the first time in 2024 to discuss the year of podcast domination ahead. It's slow progress, as Joe once again bemoans the lack of a neon sign for the show, and he's starting to worry that producer Ryan is letting power go to his head. There is however some good news as well - billboard in Leicester Square anyone? Joe and Tom go through some excellent guest applications for the show, and we have some excellent suggestions from our patrons. There is also talk of a 2024 UK tour... in a camper van.

We want ideas for the show, and questions for Joe and Tom! Email [email protected]
