Our guest this week is Dr Anna Colton, a Clinical Psychologist specialising in children and adolescents. We learn what Joe and Tom are like as parents, and find out if they're doing it right. Or if right even exists.
And what are her thoughts on giving kids their main and dessert at the same time?!

You may recognise our guest this week. He was Neville Longbottom's 'footstep double' in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. Not ringing any bells? Well, you'll have definitely seen his viral reels that have conquered Instagram for the last 12 months... it's Jake Lambert! He's here to tell us all about working in Legoland, the time he saw a ghost working as a school caretaker, and about the time he accidentally set one of the Hogwarts bridges on fire. Welcome to another episode of Things People Did, live at The Clapham Grand.

This week we are joined by Victoria, who has worked her magic on the hair and makeup of countless celebrities - including none other than Joe Marler! She gives us the inside scoop on the stressful world of quick-turnaround makeup and shares some crazy stories, like what it’s like to show up to a job with nowhere for your clients to sit.
And, of course, we had to ask her to get Joe's face TV ready.

Our guest today is one of the UK's top comedians, it's Russell Kane! He's here to tell us about all the random jobs he used to do, including selling frozen foods, hoovers, Rolex's and being a credit checker. Turns out Joe and Russell had already met, at Jonathan Ross's halloween party, when Joe was dressed as a scary clown. Russell still doesn't remember. This is Things People Did, live from The Clapham Grand.

Our guest today is the first and only man to traverse Antarctica (twice) using human power alone... let that one sink in. The first thing he told us about on today's episode was 'polar penis', so he gets the show as well. This one is full of phenomenal stories of survival, near death experiences and freezing cold temperatures. It also turns out that there are two South Poles - who knew? Our guest today is... a Traitor. It's all anyone is talking about, the biggest show on TV, where lies and treachery are the name of the game. Paul from series 2 of the Traitors was a master of deception, and he's here to tell us what it's actually like behind the scenes of that famous Scottish castle. We ask all the important questions - what's Claudia Winkleman like? Does anyone ever actually eat breakfast? Would you be suspected of being a Traitor if you pooed with the door open? The usual stuff. Even if you haven't watched The Traitors, this is the ultimate guide to lying and deception... with all the usual nonsense as well.

This was one of our very first episodes, back when we had no listeners! Today, Joe and Tom meet Gareth, who was destined to be a tree surgeon, because he grew up with chainsaws knocking around his house. Enjoy!

Our guest today has a very powerful story, which started when she woke up in a cemetery on the morning after our London Palladium Show in 2023. Laura is a listener, who doesn't drink any more. She is a former pub manager, who now works as a peer mentor, helping others on their sobriety journey. This episode has some laugh out loud moments, and some more serious ones as well. Alcohol is an engrained aspect of our society, and this is not an episode telling people not to drink. But, it's healthy to assess our relationship with it from time to time and we're grateful to Laura for sharing her story with us.
