control has been on my mind lately. and how we as humans often lose autonomy and ourselves on the quest for control. we forget what it means to actually be human. we choose to opt out of the richness and fluidity that this beautiful experience offers us. we ignore all of the sacred moments in between— in hopes of holding a bit of control in the palm of our hands through attempted manipulation of outcomes, experiences, feelings, or time.

it is deeply woven into our spiritual makeup to flow. to trust. to surrender. to evolve. to transform. to be here. in the present moment. to savor all of the ebbs and flows that accompany this experience. not escape them via rigid control.
