Welcome to the Things That Shape Us podcast. My name is Jonathan Wymer and I'm joined by James Gary to discuss a various range of subjects that are all related to one idea: How those things shape our lives.
In this episode, James and I discuss two things that shaped our lives. First, I bring a book to the table, The King in Yellow by Robert W. Chambers and we discuss its effect of cosmic horror and its inspiration to the world renowned author, H.P. Lovecraft. Secondly, James describes his military background as means to creating a perspective on duty and work ethic, something he has coined as Framing.
