In General Conference of October 2014, Elder Allan Packer, spoke about the needed requirements for eternal life, a spiritual passport of sorts. He teaches that Temple and Family History work gives those needed stamps in our passports not only to ourselves but to our ancestors. All the while contributing to the Book of Life, the final book,  that the whole of the House of Israel will be judged out of.

In October 2019, a prompting lead to an antique store in Logan, Utah. The Lord often leads people into places and circumstances that allow for the saving of His children. On that warm day in October, an 1817 Bible was found that contained written proof that the Empey family existed. Almost 200 years after this Bible was printed, a miraculous manifestation allowed the Empey family to be together once again for the eternities. Yet another story of proof that God's work will be performed in miraculous ways as we are engaged in the Gathering of Israel.

The Book of Life, The Book of Remembrance and The Book of the Generations, all are titles of the Book that the Savior and our Heavenly Father use to judge whether we are worthy of Eternal Life. As the world gets more and more wicked and Satan's power spreads across the globe, there is a compensatory power that the Lord offers to all His covenant keeping children. In the temple, and as we gather His sheep into His fold, we will find ourselves more able to combat the onslaught of the adversary's attacks. Ruth Solomon has been drawn to Temple and Family History work since childhood. She followed the promptings that lead her to becoming an accredited genealogist and a Military Repatriation Genealogist.
