  • Tip of the Week- Be A Good Neighbor
Today’s episode is all about being neighborly and its connection to organization. Inspired by a recent sermon, I want to share three key points that stood out to me.

Here’s your tip of the week: Reflect on how you can be neighborly in your own life. Offer to share, reach out before making unnecessary purchases, and engage in small acts of neighborly kindness. True value lies in the connections we make, not just the things we own.

    You'll Learn:
    1:30: Sermon Reflection

    4:12: Importance of Hospitality

    5:57: Value of Sharing

    8:19: Asking for Help

    8:46:Being Neighborly Reflection

  • Do You Feel Out Of Control | Ep 398
Think back to a time when you felt completely out of control. Maybe you lost your job, or your boyfriend broke up with you, or someone you love was facing an illness. When life gets out of hand we often feel a loss of control resulting in chaos, anxiety, frustration.

Organizing provides a sense of security and preparedness in a world that is otherwise filled with so much uncertainty. In other words, it gives us a sense of control.

“The physical act of organizing a space, working methodically through each drawer or cabinet can be quite soothing.”

Here’s the catch…. Be mindful not to swing the pendulum too far the other direction.  Trying to control every situation and variable is a losing battle.

  • My Daughter has ADHD and Struggles with Time Management-*Ask an Expert Series | Ep 397
We’re diving into a topic that's close to my heart and crucial for many families: time management tips for teens with ADHD and autism.

I received a heartfelt question from a mom with a 15-year-old daughter who’s potentially dealing with autism and ADHD. With high school around the corner, they're looking for resources to help manage her time better, especially with the increased homework load. To make things even more challenging, her daughter has a twin with autism and an intellectual disability, so the family's time and energy are stretched thin.

Here's the scoop: If your child has ASD or ADHD, they might struggle with “time blindness”—the difficulty in gauging how long tasks take.
