Amélie Yan-Gouiffes is an author, coach, and motivational speaker. She is an international expert in crisis management and resilience.
For nearly 25 years, Amélie worked in areas struck by natural disaster, war, and socio-political chaos in different parts of the globe.
And, in 2020, she encountered her own crisis in battling cancer.
Just a few days before the world was put into lockdown, Amelie was diagnosed with cancer. Did that stop her and make her give up? NO! In fact, it did quite the opposite.
Amélie’s understanding of adversity (on both professional and personal levels) is what fuels her mission today — to empower others to thrive through crisis.
She is a powerhouse unlike any other, being fluent in 3 languages and impacting lives all around the world.
Her dream: a world where we can all Be, Belong and Become.
In this episode of the Fall In Love with Fitness podcast, Amélie and I discuss how she developed a passion for helping people, how cancer impacted her life and why she calls it a “badly wrapped gift,” and how she began to truly love herself.
