  • Ayurveda + Sound Therapy with Daniel Bastacky

On today’s show I talk with Daniel Bastacky about Ayurveda and Sound Therapy. Daniel works with sound bowls and other instruments of sound to relax, heal, and balance people on physical, mental and emotional levels. • How easy can you make your Earlier Lighter Dinner?

On today’s podcast I talk with Alex Biondo, our director of Sales and Admissions at Yogahealer about the first habit in Body Thrive: eating an earlier, lighter dinner. We rap about why this habit is so challenging for so many people and how we can make it less challenging and more doable.  Some of the most common reasons people want to adopt this habit are to lose weight, to sleep deeply, to have more energy tomorrow and wake up feeling great! And guess what?! This is all within reach and totally possible when we commit to this first habit.

You can live your life in alignment with how you desire to feel today, tomorrow, in 6 months, in a year, or in ten years, by automating this earlier, light dinner habit.

I rap with Alex Biondo about Earlier Lighter Dinners:
    • Why do you want to have an earlier, lighter dinner? What is standing in your way?
    • Kaizen your habits by running small doable tests to see if they will work in your life

  • I don't have enough time to do what is most important!

In talking to wellness pros, we often hear, between the lines, “I don’t have enough time to do what is most important.” In this Changemaker Challenge episode, Cate and Grace discuss the importance of strategy, organization and project management in pro healer career success.

Overwhelm is a choice. While you might just think you’re really busy, and you might think everything is working, the fact is that if you’re not leveraging your time, if your business isn’t scalable, if you don’t have enough time on any given day to do what is going to make the biggest difference for you and your career months or years down the road, you’re just spinning your wheels and and setting yourself up for more overwhelm.

Learning or creating a good strategy is the key to stepping out of overwhelm. Once you have a good strategy, you need to know how to implement it and make it real with time, attention, and rhythm. The first step is to identify which of your activities are optional, which are enjoyable, and what is scalable. Talk to Grace. She can help you identify the leaks in your time and energy and put you on the path to doing what is most important.

What you’ll get out of tuning in:
    • What’s at stake when we don't have a way to efficiently meet our goals.
    • How to managing your big goals.

    • 9:30 - Scalability is increasing your level of impact and income without increasing the amount of energy you’re expending or the amount of time you’re working. With yoga health coaching, it’s possible to increase impact and income while decreasing the amount of time you spending working.

  • Ayurveda on CBD Oil, Alcohol, + Dynamic Relationships with Dr. Stephen Cabral

Today I have the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Stephen Cabral, a naturopathic doctor and founder of the Cabral Wellness Institute in Boston, Massachusetts. We discuss Ayurveda, CBD oil, alcohol, bio individuality, functional medicine, and dynamic relationships.  Dr. Cabral shares his story of his “mystery illness” diagnosis in high school and being unable to find any cures or answers with conventional medicine.
