This is the first of 3 episodes where I’m going to be talking through the 3 investments you should be making this year.
Some people might find it a bit odd that I’m putting healing & mindset together, and I get that, but I also believe that these 2 go hand in hand. Because what I know to be true, is that when you start healing, you also start to work on your mindset.
Then, when you’ve navigated your healing and have released what you’ve either been holding on to or what’s been holding you back, your mindset and attitude towards life becomes a hugely important factor in your life.
In this episode I share with you:
The top 3 reasons why this is so important
5 things that are preventing you from living your most authentic and joyful life
1 practice you can implement today to help you shift your mindset

To close out what has been an amazing, stretchy, uncomfortable, abundant and wild 2021, I thought I’d do an end of year wrap up with you. And in case you can’t tell from my previous sentence, this year has been super interesting with a lot of polarity.
Firstly, along with the world, we are still navigating a global pandemic, and Melbourne, Victoria have spent the best part of this year, yet again, in a hard lockdown!
Despite that, I wanted to share with you a summary of my life, both business and personal, and share with you some of the highs and lows and close out the year in a really beautiful way.
The two biggest takeaways from this episode are:
I hope you love this episode and I can’t wait to be back with you on the 5th January 2022.

In today’s episode on Your True Self I’m doing a follow up episode to last weeks.
Last week I spoke about my trauma, and this week I’m talking about my healing.
The question that was asked was:
What did your healing look like? How did you move through that space? How did my thoughts and mindset change after doing the work?
This was a little harder to record and keep short because there have been so many elements to my healing, but I’ve done my best to answer your question.
Today I walk you through the key components to my healing, how I changed, how my mindset shifted and ultimately how I now believe in myself wholeheartedly.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this one, so please reach out when you’ve listened to it.

Recently I asked my community if there were any questions they would love me to answer on the podcast and there were some juicy ones, so over the next couple of months, along with my usual episodes, I’m going to be coming in to share with you the answer to these questions.
Today I am going to answer the first question that was asked, and there are a few elements to it. The question was:
What did your trauma feel like? How did it play out in your life? Did you have any physical responses in your body? What was your mindset and thoughts like pre healing?
This is an episode where I’m totally open and honest with you, and it may not be the answer you expect or thought it would be, in that my trauma played out through suppression, avoidance and numbness, which obviously impacted everything else.
So tune on in and have a listen to this episode.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this one, so please reach out when you’ve listened to it.

I’m really excited to bring you this weeks episode because I know it is something that will resonate with so many of you, because there are so many people in my community who resonate with being “a good girl”.
And by good girl, I mean, always trying to do the right thing in order to fit in, not create any attention for themselves and stay away from conflict. Well, today I’m chatting to the incredibly Evelyn Kelly, who shares with us how she formed the identity of a good girl.
Evelyn Kelly is a Life & Confidence Coach and podcaster on a mission to support ambitious women to create unstoppable self-belief, inner confidence and own their self-worth. Evelyn is passionate about helping women to reclaim their power by dialing down their loud inner critic and people-pleasing tendencies so that they can step into the world with confidence and authenticity. Through her one on one coaching programmes, courses, and podcasts, Evelyn’s soulful yet straight-talking approach gives women the tools to create inner-connection and empower them to be the fullest version of themselves and share their authentic magic with the world.
In this episode We dive into how this showed up for her in her life and how she was able to move through it and let go of the good girl identity she’d created.
One powerful message that came through was that Evie believed she needed to be a good girl in order to be accepted and loved.
While she now knows this isn’t true, I know that this message will resonate with you. I can’t wait to hear what you think of this episode.

A little life update.
The purpose of this episode is to fill you in on everything that’s been happening in my life over the past couple of weeks.
I also share with you the 3 biggest lessons I’ve learned after the unexpected arrival of my son Hunter, which I believe relate to us all - no matter what stage of life you’re in.
To enjoy this time with little baby H, I will also be doing fortnightly podcast episodes for the foreseeable future instead of weekly. This is just to create some more space for me and make sure I’m not burning myself out.
Thank you so much for your understanding you amazing humans.

In this episode we talk about what boundaries are, how to set them and stick to them, the benefits to creating boundaries and we also give you some advice if you’re ready to set some boundaries but don’t know where to start.
