In this episode Lanterne Rouge and Benji Naesen discuss the most successful time trial riders in 2021, the best time trial performances in 2021, the top five time trial riders in the world, the most improved time trial riders and who will be the most successful time riders in 2022.   

Contenders include Filippo Ganna, Primož Roglič, Stefan Küng, Kasper Asgreen, Remco Evenepoel, Wout van Aert, Tadej Pogačar, Jonas Vingegaard, Rohan Dennis and Stefan Bissegger.  

They also touch on the 190cm rule, which allows riders who are 190 cm or taller to use longer extensions on their time trial bikes, and Movistar's hiring of engineer Iván Velasco, the assumed architect of Astana's improved time trial performances.
