Grab a iced coffee and join us in this vulnerable & slightly embarrassing episode. Aileeah opens up about her personal experience with the "Sad Beige" aesthetic and how she got swept up in the trend. She shares her journey of feeling embarrassed for getting caught in the wave of  muted tones, chasing the illusion of peace and control through aesthetic perfection.

Aileeah candidly reflects on how the Sad Beige style gave her a temporary sense of calm and led to helpful decluttering but ultimately robbed her of deeper contentment and gratitude for the home she had prayed for. She speaks on how she spent money on aesthetically pleasing things to feel "in style," only to realize it distracted her from stewarding her resources wisely.

Grounded in biblical wisdom, Aileeah discusses the dangers of discontentment, perfectionism, and covetousness that trends like Sad Beige can foster. She explores how these issues aren't just about aesthetics but reveal deeper heart postures, such as seeking control, idolization, and comparison. Using scripture to guide the conversation, Aileeah emphasizes the importance of contentment, gratitude, and faithful stewardship, reminding listeners to fix their eyes on Christ rather than fleeting trends.

Were glad you're here, so lets get into this honest discussion about the pull of popular aesthetics, the spiritual struggles that can come with them, and the freedom found in seeking satisfaction in God instead.
