Lisa Messenger is the vibrant, game-changing founder and CEO of Collective Hub. She launched Collective Hub as a print magazine in 2013 with no experience in an industry that people said is either dead or dying. Collective Hub has since grown into an international multimedia business and lifestyle platform with multiple verticals across print, digital, events and more recently, co-working spaces – all of which serve to ignite human potential.

Lisa and I reconnected at Hayman Island recently and talked about sharing the power of our experience as serial entrepreneur's because people dream of being an entrepreneur and never make it happen.

1) Why this path vs a steady income in corporate?

2) When you have a big idea how do you activate it?

3) I always believe the idea needs to have purpose or it doesn’t have legs. What do you think?

4) So you have the idea, but your not too sure went to launch - this is the tough part - I knew I wanted to launch another business 3 years before I did it.  It was about divine timing for me and trusting my gut instinct. Do you need a plan?

5) Community is a great way to grow advocacy for a business idea - I do this through coffee dates and storytelling.  How do you build your community to deliver impact?
