And if we don’t feel emotionally safe, our body stays stuck in Protection Mode, making it really hard to lose weight or feel truly well.

I explain the difference between being in “Protection Mode” vs. “Safety Mode.” When we’re stuck in Protection Mode—usually because of stress, old wounds, or even toxic environments—our bodies hold on to weight. But when we feel safe, emotionally and physically, our body can finally relax and start releasing.
