Meme Simpson and Brittany Carney visit friends and talk about ageist comedy reviews, the defunding of education and more with host Marina Franklin.

Brittany Carney began standup comedy in Washington, DC. She now lives in New York, where she regularly performs at the Comedy Cellar, Union Hall, and other clubs/alternative venues around the city. Brittany’s staff writing experience includes Season 2 of That Damn Michael Che on HBO Max and Season 2 of Teenage Euthanasia on Adult Swim. Brittany has opened for headliners including Gary Gulman, Colin Quinn, Moshe Kasher, Chris Gethard, and Jessica Kirson.

MeMe Simpson is a writer, comedian, and producer who has performed at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, The Comic Strip, and the Apollo Theater. She currently hosts Laugh Gas, a virtual comedy showcase. This June, she is headlining the Black Women In Comedy Laff Fest.
