Ever listen to a song and wonder, 'what's this song about?'. Best we throw that question to the songsmith himself, shall we? Mark Seymour is back for yet another banter about life. Life as a rock musician, and life as a human. We meander through the corridors of Mark's musician mind and explore the creative process behind what he refers to as the dark art of songwriting and how stories are weaved and received through his music.

We talk a little about the beast that was Hunters & Collectors (since I'm reading Mark's biography, Thirteen Tonne Theory as we speak) and what life was, and is, really like beneath what one might have assumed would be a tight knit family of sorts.

Beyond the music and gigging we talk about life and the humanness we all experience (yep, even rock stars). Like what is living well and living successfully? Are they the even same thing? The minefield of understanding and navigating relationships along the way. What even is love? Who can we really trust? Do we all feel shame about something?

Oh yeah and with all the punches I've been landing on the good lad lately, be rude not to talk a little bit of boxing too... Enjoy!
