When a Narcissist Threatens Suicide to Make You Stay: Narcissistic Abuse & Manipulation Tactics

If you've ever been in a relationship with a narcissist who has become toxic, you know how sneaky and underhanded their abuse and manipulation can be - between the gaslighting and the love bombing (not to mention, everything in between), you may not even feel like you know which end is up anymore!

But when you finally gather up the strength and courage to leave, the narcissist will sometimes pull the lowest trick in the book: threatening suicide - which, of course, they claim can only be alleviated by your presence. They use suicide threats to hoover you back in and often as a last resort.

But will the narcissist actually commit suicide? That is the question - and what are you supposed to do when a narcissist threatens to kill himself or herself? How should you deal with suicide threats from a toxic person?
