After years of facing unimaginable hurdles, Jessica van Nooten and her husband Kevin Middleton turned to surrogacy. They sent their embryo across the sea to Ukraine, where a surrogate became pregnant with their baby. 11 weeks before the due date, a message arrived, stating “your baby has been born”.As they raced to Ukraine to get their little girl, Russia invaded.
